Mobile Motors is a company that brings the shop to you. We focus on important safety features that all vehicles are required to have. Our expert staff is knowledgeable, professional, and eager to get you back on the road.

How does Mobile Motors work?

Choose what service package you would like performed. Set up an appointment for a Mobile Motors technician on your schedule. The technician comes to your location and performs the work desired. Afterwards you will be billed for the agreed amount. You carry on knowing your vehicle is in proper working condition.

Where is the shop?

The shop is where the customer is! Everything the Mobile Motors technicians will need to complete their job is located inside the service vehicle. Whether home or office, we bring the shop to you!

I can't find the service I'm looking for?

Mobile Motors is an on site mechanic service. If you do not see the service you are looking for, please contact us for a consultation. We strive to fix any issues brought forth to us; however, we are not a full service shop. Some services requested may be denied due to the nature of the repair.

What types of vehicles do you service?

Mobile Motors focuses on the repair of brake components and bulbs on passenger vehicles such as cars, trucks, and suv's. Currently Mobile Motors does not service motorcycles, off road vehicles, semi trucks, or large commercial equipment.

What areas do you service?

Mobile Motors is currently servicing the Prospect, Goshen, Crestwood, Lagrange, Louisville, and surrounding areas.

What Services does Mobile Motors offer?

Mobile Motors specializes in the replacement of brake components and light bulbs on vehicles. We do this on an appointment based schedule, all at the convenience of the customers location.

What happens to the old Fluids?

Mobile Motors is an environmentally conscious company. All disregarded fluids are disposed of properly according to local and state legislature as well as EPA standards.

Where does Mobile Motors get their parts?

Mobile Motors sources parts from various local and online vendors. Mobile Motors works diligently to bring you the best quality at the fairest prices. For that reason we utilize several different vendors.

How do I make an appointment?

Easy! You can schedule an appointment on the website, you can give us a ring, or email us to get setup.

Hours of operation?

7 days a week, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Same day service?

Depends on technician and part availability. If there is an open slot in the schedule and the correct parts can be obtained Mobile Motors would be happy to help you same day.

How long does service work take?

Service times can vary from 30 minutes up to 3 hours. The time frame depends heavily on the type of work selected, and the vehicle being serviced.

Are there hidden fees?

All fees will be discussed before work is to be completed. Mobile Motors strives to be transparent about the services offered, and will not tack on additional charges in attempts to “up sell” you.


If your appointment needs to be rescheduled no worries. Mobile Motors is focused on providing excellent service at your convenience. We do ask that appointments be rescheduled with ample time beforehand.


We ask that all cancellations be made prior to 24 hours of the appointment time. If canceled within the 24 hour period, there will be a $50 service charge.

Is there an appointment window?

Technicians are expected to show up in a timely manor. Due to variables such as drive time, and the time taken on prior appointments there is a possibility that the tech may not arrive at the exact time scheduled. If the technician falls behind on the schedule contact will be made to relay the information and keep the customer informed of the situation and a proper eta.

Do I have to be present?

Yes, then no, then yes. Be there to sign off on the service work and give keys to technician. You may choose to stick around while the technician is working on your vehicle, or if you have prior engagements feel free to attend to those. Once work is completed you will need to be present so keys may be returned.

Do you offer a warranty on parts?

Mobile Motors offers a lifetime warranty on all pads and shoes we supply. Some components are also covered under manufacturers defects. Other items Mobile Motors supplies are considered consumables and no warranty is offered.

Do you offer a warranty on labor

All labor is covered under 6,000 miles, or 6 months

What happens if something goes wrong?

Based on the nature of the situation Mobile Motors will stand behind the work done and products installed. If problems arise due to faulty installation or defective parts, Mobile Motors will fix the issue accordingly.

Does Mobile Motors have insurance?

Mobile Motors is covered for up to $1,000,000 in liability insurance.

What is the cost?

Pricing is determined, and clearly stated prior to work being completed. If the technician determines that further repairs are deemed necessary the customer will be informed before continuation of service work. There are no hidden fees associated with the work that Mobile Motors performs.

Is credit card information required to book an appointment?

Credit card information is required to book an appointment. Payment; however, can be made in several forms.

How do I pay for service?

Credit card, cash, PayPal, Venmo, and certified checks are all forms of acceptable currency. Mobile Motors currently uses PayPal to conduc non cash transactions online.

Where can I find the receipt for my service?

Service receipts will be emailed to the customer upon completion of services. A paper copy can be requested and sent if the customer so chooses.

What kind of experience do your techs have?

Mobile Motors takes pride in hiring ASE certified technicians. Experience varies from technician to technician, but all technicians are fully qualified to perform service on passenger vehicles.

Do you background check employees?

Background checks are performed on all potential employees.

What if the service takes longer than quoted?

Mobile Motors has a transparent policy with customers. While the time needed to complete the requested service may vary, the quoted price remains the same.

What is the quickest service offered?

Because Mobile Motors does not base appointments off a labor rate, the quickest, cheapest service available is bulb replacement. Other jobs are based on a general shop rate and take into consideration time needed as well as part cost.

What happens if I need something extra?

In some situations parts may be worn past a safe point. If the technician determines that extra parts are needed, they will contact the customer with an update regarding the situation and have further work approved before continuing.
